The ANC is a national liberation movement. It was formed in 1912 to unite the African people and spearhead the struggle for fundamental political, social and economic change. For ten decades the ANC has led the struggle against racism and oppression, organising mass resistance, mobilising the international community and taking up the armed struggle against apartheid.

The ANC Limpopo hosted a successful Provincial Siyanqoba Rally on Saturday, 11 May 2024, at Malamulele Stadium in the Collins Chabane Sub-region. ANC President Comrade Cyril Ramaphosa delivered the main address.
Limpopo is the home of the ANC.

ANC Provincial Secretary Comrade Reuben Madadzhe, accompanied by Deputy Provincial Secretary Comrade Basikopo Makamu and ANCYL Provincial Chairperson Comrade Tonny Racheone and Norman Mashabane Regional Chairperson Comrade Pule Shayi joined the ANC Richard Maake Branch at the Movers Sports Ground in Ward 10 in the Phalaborwa sub-region for the football tournament and mini rally. The Provincial Secretary deliverered a brief message of encouragement to all eligible voters to vote for the ANC and to thank ANC volunteers for their continued hard work during the campaign.

The ANC in Limpopo hosted a Social Media Workshop for its deployees, candidates and volunteers as a tool to enhance its communications work.The workshop was held at The Park Hotel, Mogalakwena Sub-Region, Waterberg Region.
The ANC seeks to ensure that the work of its government is communicated adequately, in an attempt to lure voters, and at the same time, allow the public to have an active role in engaging the ANC manifesto.

The Deputy Provincial Secretary of the ANC Limpopo Comrade Basikopo Makamu is today leading the ANC's elections campaign in Hovheni Village, Mark Shope Sub-Region. The Deputy Provincial Secretary led a door to door campaign, afterwards handed over a house to Ms. Nyiko Amukelani Ngwana.

[Via Govt] President Cyril Ramaphosa along with President Mokgweetsi Masisi of the Republic of Botswana has today visited the bus accident site that tragically claimed 45 citizens of Botswana at the Mmamatlakala Bridge along the R518 in Limpopo Province. The heads of state and governments commenced the visit in Limpopo Province in Mokopane before visiting the accident scene. President Ramaphosa conveyed condolences on behalf of South Africa to the Republic of Botswana following the tragic accident of a bus transporting Easter pilgrims to Moria.

President Cyril Ramaphosa and his Botswana counterpart, President Dr. Mokgweetsi Masisi led the delegation of comprising of the Premier of Limpopo, Chupu Stanley Mathabatha, Ministers and Deputy Ministers, High Commissioners, Police Commissioners from both South Africa and Botswana and MECs, including several stakeholders to the scene where 45 Botswana Nationals perished on their way to the Easter pilgrimage at ZCC St. Engenas Headquarters, Moria.
Limpopo Health MEC, Dr. Phophi Ramathuba provided a step by step process on how the various stakeholders came together to assist the families of the victims.

Following the ANC Limpopo Councillors Assembly earlier today, ANC Provincial Secretary Comrade Reuben Madadzhe and Deputy Provincial Secretary Comrade Basikopo Makamu, joined by the PEC Sub-Committee on Legislature and Governance and PEC deployees to Waterberg Region, met with Waterberg REC Officials and the Political Management Team of Thabazimbi Municipality, at Jack Botes Hall in Polokwane. The meeting was convened to address political developments within the municipality.

The ANC Provincial Comrade Reuben Madadzhe and Deputy Provincial Secretary and Provincial Head of Elections Comrade Basikopo Makamu met with all the Regional Elections Coordinators and Regional Elections Managers and Local Elections Coordinators this afternoon at Frans Mohlala House in Polokwane. The purpose of the meeting was to iron out logistical matters and elections material related to the ANC's elections programme.

The 14th of March marks a memorable day for residents of Polokwane Municipality Extension 78 as CoGHSTA MEC, and Deputy Secretary of the ANC in Limpopo Basikopo Makamu and Capricorn District Municipality Executive Mayor, Cllr. Mamedupi Teffo are currently embarking on a door to door hand over of 2808 title deeds to beneficiaries and handover 15 houses to Military Veterans.

HANDING OVER OF TITLE DEEDS
ANC Provincial Treasurer Comrade Nakedi Kekana, in her capacity as Member of the Executive Council, supported the official handover of the now completed Bodutlulo Water Project in Lepelle Nkumpi Municipality.
The R35 million project sees 600 households having running water in their homes.
Comrade Nakedi Kekana said the handing over is doing good to a promise made by the ANC government that water will reach each and every single household.

The Debate of the Limpopo State of the Province Address, as delivered by Premier Chupu Mathabatha on 29 February 2024 was held during a sitting of the Limpopo Legislature today. Heading Team ANC for the Debate was Chief Whip Comrade Essob Mokgonyana. This debate provides an essential avenue for members of the legislature to articulate their responses to the State of the Province Address (SOPA). It serves as a critical platform for constructive engagement and discussion on the key issues outlined in the SOPA.

The Provincial Chairperson interacted with students of Tshisimani Campus of the Vhembe Tvet Colleage earlier today, accompanied by the leadership of the ANC Branch, SASCO and Members of the RTT of the Youth league in the Region. The Chairperson also led a door to door campaign, interacted with students residing in close proximity to the campus, urging students to vote in the SRC elections next week.

The mini rally is also a celebration of the ANC Ward 29, joint winner of the Sol Plaatjie Award as announced by ANC President Comrade Cyril Ramaphosa during the January 8th Statement and 112 Anniversary at Mbombela Stadium.

The ANC in Limpopo has dismissed reports that it was responsible for sabotaging former president Jacob Zuma and the MK party's visit to the province. Provincial secretary Reuben Madadze says at this stage there's no evidence of the existence of the MK party in the province.
